New beginnings

Tomorrow marks the beginning of 2007, according to the Gregorian Calender. People devise different ways to herald the New Year in. Fireworks are one of my favorites. Apparently, Sydney are spending close to 4 million this year. I have heard they are fantastic, and they do look this way on the television. Melbourne have fireworks taking place at 9pm in the City for the kiddies, then at 12pm for the adults. I watched them from the Yarra riverbank last year. A few years before that I watched them from a back porch, some years before that I trekked to the hill that the Xavier Chapel sits on them (along with most of Kew and Hawthorn.) This was a fantastic viewing point.

This year my evening shall be quiet, but I guaranteed I'll see more stars where I am than those in the city, however this year I'm passing on the seeing the fireworks first hand. Like promises resolutions are sought made but to be broken so i'll pass with all that mumbo jumbo but will say that:

Tomorrow welcomes the new year. Tomorrow also marks the arrival of Lucy Abigail Grace into the Anderson and Wallis families. Very exciting.

Lucy has arrived and is happily sleeping at my feet.
She has proven to be a true Anderson/Wallis. She can't drink without spilling it everywhere including feeling the need to have both paws in the bowl whilst drinking.
She also appears to be an excellent sleeper except for a hour or so last night when she went to bed and at about 530 this morning when clearly it was time to be with people.
She doesn't appear to enjoy her own company but is quite happy to sit and do nothing. She is also somewhat of a clutz and manages to fall over at least 3-4 times an hour usually tripping over her own feet.
Will send photos tonight.

And you posted that comment anonymously. One would hope you were slightly intoxicated. Grow up!

quickly explain that Lucy is another pet possession. This one being a small woof, based on 'boof' and/or pumpkin head. Alas at nine weeks it is bigger than both yappa's and will be a worthwhile hunter/gatherer up at the hideout. The odd brave bunny, lost deer, slow wallaby and brave fox likely to stray and investigate
the empty chook house will be dwelt with more than likely by Lucy dropping her body mass over the unfortunate wildlife.
The woof will reverberate through the hills and will cause cattle, sheep and alpaca's to freeze in fright as they not know their fate. Oh Dad, its such a good dog already, only keeps you up half the night with its whining. Yes the baby newfoundland Lucy, welcome, I look forward to being taken out at the knees in one of your joyful rumps, slobbered over, and will sit with you to enjoy the five star menu suggested by the breeders. Another of life's challenges, like getting used to a cat turning feral in the wild.
Oh well, Rob agreed to it but Sarah you should explain what is next, he is intrigued as am I.

someone who calls themselves the vitamin keeps you from going crazy? sounds like it may be the crazy one (and that's polite.) Staying away from such people may be the solution. anyway that blog is dumb. yours is good and you are practically perfect in every way! mind you i did think you were crazy when you decided to go to Bond, so perhaps they are Correct, but only in regard to this
